Students retain complete and unencumbered copyright over all original code submissions, lab answers, and software projects compiled or stored within Edulas. Edulas asserts ZERO claim of ownership over student work.

Faculty Curriculum Rights

Professors and academic institutions retain full intellectual property rights over custom lab instructions, test-case definitions, starter code repositories, and grading rubrics uploaded to the Professor Command Studio.

3. Acceptable Use Policy & Code Execution Rules

To ensure safety across shared lab subnets and execution environments, users agree NOT to:

  • Malicious Payload Execution: Attempt to exploit sandboxed server execution environments, execute unauthorized system commands, or run cryptomining workloads.
  • Denial of Service (DDoS): Flood Edulas WebSocket broadcast channels or automated test-runner API endpoints.
  • Academic Dishonesty Bypass: Reverse-engineer or tamper with the AST Semantic Plagiarism Engine or focus-loss telemetry trackers to falsify lab attendance or identity.
